‘Mimosas’ has been awarded with the Cannes Critics’ Week Grand Prize. Other prizes awarded include:

*’Album’ with the France 4 Visionary Award
*’Prenjak’ with the Leica Ciné Discovery Prize for a Short Film
*’One Week And A Day’ with the GAN Foundation Award for Distribution
*’Diamond Island’ with the SACD Prize.
*’Birth Of A Leader’ with the Canal Plus Award for a Short

– Amazon Prime Video has added ‘Fleabag’ to its original series lineup. This half hour comedy, which is written by and starring ‘Broadchurch’ alum Phoebe Waller-Bridge, follows the misadventures of a woman making her way through modern London. The show will air in fall.

– JCC Manhattan’s 4th Annual Israel Film Center Festival has announced its lineup of special events and guests to complement its previously announced lineup of film and television screenings.  The festival, which presents the best of Israel’s groundbreaking new cinema and television programming, features conversations with filmmakers, writers, and actors and runs from June 2 – 9 at JCC Manhattan with additional screenings in Westchester locations and in collaboration with Long Island’s Gold Coast International Film Festival. – The Lower East Side Film Festival has announced its full lineup.
