'Roadies' Trailer Shows Cameron Crowe's New Vision Of Rock Band Touring

Showtime released a brand new teaser of Cameron Crowe’s upcoming music drama, “Roadies,” set to the song “Light Me Up” by Bronze Radio Return.

60 shows, 43 cities and one crew that puts it all together, the 10-episode series chronicles the wild and adventurous side of the of a committed group of roadies who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. “Roadies” stars Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Imogen Poots.

The show is written and executive produced by Winnie Holzman, along with J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and Len Goldstein. Kathy Lingg is co-executive producer. This marks the “Almost Famous” helmer’s first television series, which had early setbacks including losing original cast member Christina Hendricks in the process. But now Showtime is ready to rock ‘n roll and debut the series this Summer.
