'Sausage Party' Teaser: Seth Rogen Imitates Walt Disney To Sell Twisted Animated Film



Food is in for a rude awakening in the new CGI R-rated film “Sausage Party” created by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. In a new teaser for the animated film, the “Neighbors 2” actor channels Walt Disney in the TV series “The Wonderful World of Disney.”

Inviting us to his “Animation Imaginatorium,” Rogen, dressed in a crisp blue suit with slicked back hair, immediately tells an animator that he is doing terrible work and fires him. The actor then introduces viewers to his latest film and the star of the movie, Frank. 

“Now, Frank here knows a lot of stuff. He knows how to dance, and he knows how to curtsy,” says Seth. “But what Frank doesn’t know just might kill him and everyone he loves. Here’s a taste.”

The clip shows a woman making food in the kitchen and slicing up vegetables. When the baby carrots take notice, they try and run away. The lady quickly spots them almost falling off the counter, picks them up and eats them. Oh the horror!

“Monsters, those were baby carrots! They had their whole lives ahead of them,” yells the animated sausage.

“Sausage Party” tells the story of grocery food finding out what happens to them in the real world where they are chopped up, boiled and cooked so they can be eaten by people.

The voice cast includes Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Salma Hayek and a slew of other well known names. The film is directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon and will hit theaters on August 12.
