'Star Wars' Day: Daisy Ridley Celebrates May The Fourth With New Characters

Daisy Ridley is celebrating her first “Star Wars” Day since the release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and she’d like to wish everyone a happy May the Fourth with a special message.

In the video, the actress thanks everyone for being a Force for Change and raising an incredible amount of money for some amazing charities. In the clip she also receives a gift from her co-star John Boyega , given to her by a new character.

In the background we can also see her old friend BB-8 and new ones – who some people online are saying is Admiral Ackbar from “Return of the Jedi” (even though he could be another Mon Calamari soldier) and the wing fighter Ello Asty (even though his X-wing was shot down along with him). Watch the video above to make your predictions.

Daisy also celebrated May 4th by posting a handful of photos on her Instagram. “HAPPY STAR WARS DAY Y’ALL! This is team Dazzle; Lisa, Amanda and Callie (missing Sonny!) AKA the incredible women that kept me going the whole way through the shoot! Plus JJ in the back being a general BAWS!” she posted along with a picture of her and Boyega.
