Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick star in DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox’s latest animated feature "Trolls." After both actors performed an acoustic cover of Cyndi Lauper’s "True Colors" at the Cannes Film Festival, new footage of the movie was released.
The clip shows Timberlake’s Branch and Anna Kendrick’s Poppy meeting a new wisecracking character named Could Guy who tells them about the difference between two of the tunnels that they encounter. One of them leads them to their destination, while the other to certain death.
Branch seems to not trust this new fellow, but Poppy thinks he could be of use. Watch the comedic interaction above.
"Trolls" is based on the popular iconic dolls from the ’60s and follows friends Branch and Poppy as they embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the world they’ve ever known. The film features new music from JT and also has a star-studded cast which includes voices by Russell Brand, Zooey Deschanel, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Gwen Stefani and many more.
"Shrek Forever After" duo Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn co-directed the film. Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger wrote the script and Gina Shay is on board as producer.
"Trolls" arrives in theaters on November 4.
