‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Honest Trailer Mocks The Disney Film ‘With A ‘Toy Story’ Premise But With Video Games’

'Wreck-It Ralph' Honest Trailer Mocks The Disney Film 'With A ‘Toy Story’ Premise But With Video Games'

“Get ready for all your dad’s/older brother’s favorite franchises to join forces on the big screen in teeny tiny cameos.” This week Screen Junkies took us back to the 2012 Disney video game-themed computer animated film “Wreck-It Ralph” starring John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman.

“You’ve seen toys come to life in ‘Toy Story,’ now kick your children’s paranoia into overdrive with the exact same premise but for video games,” starts off the latest Honest Trailer. The charming dystopia shows the living characters in arcade games who interact with each other and follows the story of Wreck-It Ralph, a character who is tired of being the bad guy.

But being the bad guy actually ends up being a good thing, because when he’s good he can use his bad guy ways to help the good guys from the bad guys… or something like that. Watch the trailer above to get a better understanding.

“Spend time with weird hybrid characters because Disney couldn’t get the rights to Donkey Kong, Master Chief or Mario,” states the video as it also ponders why if they had the rights to use Sonic the Hedgehog they decided to use Tapper as one of the main characters.

Watch Silverman as an “incorrigible PG version of Sarah Silverman who is secretly a princess because Disney can’t veer too off-brand,” Reilly as a bad, good guy and Skrillex, who we don’t know what video game he is a part of, but still makes a special appearance.
