‘Doctor Who’: Peter Capaldi Teases Jenna Coleman Return

Will Clara Oswald be back for Season 10?

Could “Doctor Who” fans be seeing the return of Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald in the upcoming season? It might be a possibility thanks to Peter Capaldi teasing some new information. During Awesome Con in Washington DC, Capaldi and Coleman were discussing one of the last episode of the BBC series and how maybe things didn’t work out how everyone thought they did.

“I’m not sure how successfully Clara was able to wipe his mind,” Capaldi said according to Radio Times. “I just… I was about to tell you something I can’t tell you.”

After fans prodded him for more details, The Doctor revealed more, “I just shot something that Clara was still there in,” he said to everyone’s amazement.

But does this mean she’s back for good? Possibly not since the BBC announced that Pearl Mackie will play the Time Lord’s new companion in Season 10. Though, that doesn’t mean that Clara couldn’t still be there in the Whoniverse in past memories and flashbacks. Though, since “Doctor Who” hasn’t even started shooting for the next season, it could be something non-Who related as well.

Fans will just have to wait to see if Coleman reappears in the “Doctor Who” Christmas special or the new season that will air in 2017.
