Jennifer Lawrence is teaming up with “The Big Short” director Adam McKay for a medical drama about the blood testing company Theranos and its founder Elizabeth Holmes, Deadline reports.

The actress will star and produce the film along with McKay who is set to direct, write and produce through his Gary Sanchez banner.

Theranos was founded in 2003 and claimed to have revolutionized blood testing. However, in the past weeks, the company has been under investigation over claims of inaccurate tests results. Last year Holmes, who was valued at $4.5 billion, was named the youngest female self-made billionaire by Forbes, but now her net worth has been reduced to fractions of that following the allegations. Both her and Theranos executives have denied the claims against the company and are working with authorities to resolve any issues.
