‘The Greasy Strangler’ Gets Profane and Crazy New Teaser

The film will open in theaters and be released on VOD on October 7.

This October one of the wildest and most outrageous films that was premiered at Sundance will finally arrive in theaters, “The Greasy Strangler.” To help it make its theatrical debut, FilmRise has released a new crazy teaser trailer of the Jim Hosking-directed film.

The movie is described as “equal parts disgusting, offensive, and manically entertaining” and follows Ronnie, a man who runs a disco walking tour along with his browbeaten son, Brayden. When a sexy and alluring woman named Janet comes to take the tour, father and son vie for her attention. Things get weird when an oily, slimy, inhuman maniac who stalks the streets at night and strangles the innocent called “the Greasy Strangler” soon takes over Los Angeles.

Michael St. Michaels, Sky Elobar, and Elizabeth De Razzo star in the unbelievably bizarre flick produced by Theo Brooks, Tim League, Ben Wheatley, Andrew Starke, Ant Timpson, Josh C. Waller, Daniel Noah, and Elijah Wood. The script comes from Hosking and Toby Harvard and promises to be laugh-out-loud fun.
