After causing standing ovations and walkouts at the Cannes Film Festival last month, Nicolas Winding Refn’s “The Neon Demon” is finally getting ready to be unleashed in U.S. theaters on June 24, but a handful of IndieWire readers won’t have to wait that long to see what all the buzz is about.

Distributor Broad Green Pictures is holding special advanced screenings of the film all next week in the lead up to its Friday release, and all you have to do is head to the official landing page to sign up. There are only 20 tickets available per screening, and tickets will be given on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up as soon as possible. Each ticket includes a plus one.

Starring Elle Fanning in one of her most fearless roles yet, “The Neon Demon” is the story of a young Los Angeles transplant who enters the cut throat modeling industry. Designers and runway directors instantly are attracted to her, though her rise to fame is threatened by manipulative models and artists who are ready to tear her down at any minute. Christina Hendricks, Abbey Lee, Jena Malone, Karl Glusman and Keanu Reeves co-star. Refn’s longtime musical collaborator Cliff Martinez handles score duties.

In his review out of Cannes, IndieWire Chief Film Critic Eric Kohn said of the film, “‘The Neon Demon’ lingers on outrageous sexual deviance, from steamy showers following one grisly incident to a cross-cutting of lesbian desires both real and imagined, all framed with childlike glee. But even as Refn falls into the familiar trappings of the male gaze, that itself is a spirited indictment of the industry propping it up.”
