The full list of winners for the 70th annual Tony Awards.

2016 Tony Awards Winners List

The 70th Annual Tony Awards took place Sunday, June 12 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Hosted by James Corden, the theater celebration recognized the achievements in Broadway productions during the last twelve months. The biggest and brightest theaters stars all stepped out to pay tribute to their hard work in the 2015-2016 season. 

This year’s ceremony was dedicated to the victims of the Orlando shooting.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash hit musical “Hamilton” had a record-breaking 16 nominations and took home 11 Tonys total. Other big winners of the night were Jessica Lange, who won her first award for her role in “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” and “The Humans” came out with a total of four trophies.
