“Seinfeld” is long gone, but Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is finally set to return for a ninth season, “Veep” is as funny as ever and Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” remains an entertaining diversion as well. Seinfeld’s next guest in the web series — which, as you might have deduced, features comedians in cars getting coffee — is Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels. Michaels starts things off by saying he’s “very happy” to be part of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”; when asked by Seinfeld if he means it, he quickly admits, “no.” He’s next seen questioning the show’s very format, though his apparent confusion seems quickly assuaged as the two sit down for coffee and discuss Dana Carvey.

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” premiered nearly four years ago and is currently in its eighth season, having aired 51 episodes. Former guests include Ricky Gervais, Sarah Silverman, Chris Rock, Louis C.K., Tina Fey and Barack Obama, who is not a comedian.
