‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 Trailer: MTV Previews the Werewolf Drama’s Final Season at Comic-Con

The whole cast showed up to announce the final season.

Today at San Diego Comic-Con, MTV announced that “Teen Wolf” will come to a close next year. The long-running series loosely based on the ’80s teen movie of the same name will conclude with its 100th episode, which is set to air in 2017. Watch the trailer for the upcoming sixth and final season below.

“‘Teen Wolf’ has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” said showrunner and executive producer Jeff Davis. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.” Most of the cast was on hand at SDCC to announce their farewell: Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian and Khylin Rhambo were all in attendance.

“Teen Wolf” first premiered in 2011 and has aired 80 episodes across its first five seasons. This last go-round begins in November.
