25 Best Film Schools: USC, AFI and NYU Claim Top Spots on the Hollywood Reporter’s Sixth Annual List

The list is based on consultations with academics, alumni and industry professionals.

The Hollywood Reporter has compiled its sixth annual list of the 25 best film schools, with most of the usual suspects taking pride of place: USC claims the top spot, with the American Film Institute, NYU and UCLA close behind; Los Angeles continues to dominate the rankings, with six of the top 10 schools located near the heart of the film industry.
