Just when you didn’t think “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” could get any better, Rachel Bloom has announced that “Pitch Perfect” star Brittany Snow is headed to West Covina to shake up Rebecca’s life in Season 2.
The Golden Globe winner made the very fantastic announcement via her Twitter account, uploading a hilarious video of herself jubilantly singing renditions of “Let It Go,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and more, but swapping Snow’s name in between the lyrics.
“We are so excited to announce that Brittany Snow is going to be on ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,’” Bloom wrote on social media page. Snow responded to the post by writing, “Not sure if anyone since my 4th grade bf Kevin has used my name in so many beautiful melodic ways.”

According to various reports, Snow will appear in three episodes of the second season of the CW comedy. Her character, Anna, is described as a “hip and cool L.A. chick and beauty entrepreneur who sweeps into town and shakes everything up for Rebecca.” The even better news is that the “Hairspray” alum will also have a musical number during her run on the show. So get ready for some wacky new tunes, courtesy of the co-leader of the bellas.
Season 2 of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” premieres on Friday, October 21 on The CW.
