The equivalent line from the book — “Go, then. There are other worlds than these” — is invoked via superimposed text. This most recent still follows a series of other brief looks at “The Dark Tower” released in recent months; the first full trailer for director Nikolaj Arcel’s silver-screen adaptation is expected in October.

Arcel’s best-known film to date is “A Royal Affair,” though he also co-wrote the screenplay for the original “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Abbey Lee, Jackie Earle Haley and Katheryn Winnick round out the ensemble cast of his Hollywood debut, which Columbia Pictures will release on February 17, 2017.
