Tom Hiddleston Reads John LeCarre’s ‘The Night Manager’ For Our Sincere Enjoyment

The Emmy-nominated actor makes you grin and wish he would read all your books to you.

There’s a lot of things that Tom Hiddleston is great at, one of them is making everyone swoon with his charming good looks and cheeky grin. So prepare yourself to watch the “Thor” actor staring into your soul as he reads an excerpt from John le Carré’s “The Night Manager.”

The four-minute video, courtesy of The Guardian, shows the Emmy-nominated actor sitting on a stool in front of a black backdrop, holding the novel in his hand. There’s nothing elaborate about the video, just Hiddleston reading a passage, while occasionally looking up and making eye contact with the camera.

“The Night Manager” miniseries, based on the 1993 book of the same name, debuted on AMC back in April and followed Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston), a night manager of a Cairo hotel who is recruited to infiltrate an arms dealer’s inner circle.

Co-starring  Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman and David Harewood, the six-part series received widespread critical acclaim and garnered 12 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Limited Series and Outstanding Lead and Supporting Actor.
