The series follows Rebecca Bunch (Bloom), a high-profile lawyer who bumps into her first love Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III) on the streets of New York just after she’s offered a partnership at her law firm. Josh informs her that he’s moving back to West Covina, California, and on a whim, Rebecca decides to quit her job and follow him in search of happiness.
