‘Mean Dreams’ Trailer: Bill Paxton Goes Dark in Backwoods Crime Thriller From Cannes

Nathan Morlando's feature debut bowed at Cannes and recently screened at TIFF.

“Mean Dreams”

Bill Paxton is back in familiar territory with Nathan Morlando’s family drama/thriller, “Mean Dreams,” as the film returns the actor to the role of unhinged patriarch that he so chillingly played in his own directorial debut, “Frailty.” Paxton stars in the film alongside “The Book Thief” breakout Sophie Nélisse and up-and-comer Josh Wiggins in the Canadian filmmaker’s feature debut. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
