Canadian singer/songwriter Grimes gave fans a treat on Wednesday when she released seven new music videos. Four songs are from her latest album “Art Angels” and three are from her friend and frequent collaborator HANA’s self titled EP.

The artist, known for her unique sound and creative style, shared the videos in a series of tweets, where she detailed that she, HANA and her brother Mac Boucher shot the videos over a 2 week period over the summer in Europe during her “AC!D REIGN” tour.

“They are guerrilla style vids, a la realiti, so there was no crew, makeup, cameras, lights,” she explained. “Just us and a phone, so maybe don’t expect anything to fancy. That said, we’re really proud of what we made.”

Grimes’ videos are “Butterfly,” “World Princess Part II,” “Scream Feat. Aristophanes” and “Belly Of The Beat” and HANA’s are “Underwater,” “Chimera” and “Avalanche.” The clips can be watched individually or in a 38-minute short film titled “The AC!D Reign Chronicles.”

“Initially we set out only to shoot something for [‘World Princess Part II’], but we felt done after a couple days, so we kept shooting in between shows and on days off, and started shooting videos for HANA, too,” she continued in her tweet. “Aristophanes also played some shows with us, so we were able to shoot ‘Scream.’ Linda and Alyson, who dance in the show, also appear in the videos.”
