Over the summer, Donald Glover performed out in Joshua Tree and debuted songs from his latest album “Awaken, My Love!” The actor, who goes by his rap name Childish Gambino, did six concerts in three days, which were filmed and created into a virtual reality experience for the app PHAROS.

Now, the “Atlanta” creator has released a 360 degree VR music video for his latest single “Me and Your Mama,” which immerses the viewer into the performance and lets them watch from the front row. Just by clicking and dragging the cursor, fans can check out what they missed out on and see Glover singing while covered in neon paint.

The singer/actor is set to release a virtual reality vinyl on January 10. Not much is known about the actual formatting but the vinyl will be accompanied by a VR headset, according to Rolling Stone. Vulture also reports, via a press release, that all future PHAROS performances will be exclusive only to those who preorder the VR vinyl version.

“Awaken, My Love!” is Glover’s first album since 2013’s well-received “Because the Internet.” Aside from his upcoming performance on “The Tonight Show” on December 14, he’ll next be seen onscreen in Season 2 of “Atlanta,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” out July 7, 2017, and portraying Lando Calrissian in the Han Solo “Star Wars” spinoff.
