“I grew up with death and violence all around me,” says producer Alejo Arango on the personal nature of the film’s story. “Medellín was tough back then. This is where the dead men come from; growing up thinking that you are already dead, believe me, living life like that is intense.”

The film is directed by Kirk Sullivan. He has previously worked as an assistant to executive producer Joel Silver on projects like “Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows,” “Project X” and “Non-Stop.” This is his first feature film.
