New ‘Cloverfield’ Sequel Coming Next Year as ‘God Particle’ Is Removed from Bad Robot’s Schedule

Might they be one and the same?

News of an upcoming J.J. Abrams project should always be taken with a grain of salt, given his habit of surprising audiences with his “mystery box,” but here’s something to mull over: Bad Robot has moved “God Particle” off its schedule and placed a new “Cloverfield” on it. David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ziyi Zhang, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl and Chris O’Dowd comprise the ensemble cast of “Particle,” which takes place on an international space station where a group of astronauts come across something shocking.
