As bad years go, 2016 was more than just a flesh wound. To help close it out on a lighthearted note, Buzzfeed and Seeso are partnering to live-stream “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” on the former’s Facebook page today at 7 p.m. EST, aka a few moments after this article goes live. If you can make it past the Knights of Ni, head over there to watch the film now.
Sweetening the pot further is the fact that Eric Idle and John Cleese will be providing a live commentary track in the form of Facebook comments as the film plays. Seeso, if you hadn’t heard, is a comedy-centric streaming service that launched in January; today’s live-stream is one of the company’s more high-profile showings to date.
“Holy Grail” is also available on Seeso (subscriptions will set you back $3.99 per month), ditto “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” and the complete collections of documentaries and specials from the beloved comedy troupe.
