The show begins a year after the events of “The Good Wife,” following a financial scandal that destroys the reputation of an up-and-coming lawyer named Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie of “Game of Thrones” and “Downton Abbey”) — as well as her mentor/godmother’s savings. The two are ousted from Lockhart & Lee and join a new firm alongside Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo). Christine Baranski, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Erica Tazel, Paul Guilfoyle and Bernadette Peters round out the cast.
