It was only last month that we were telling you Vincenzo Natali, helmer of the very underrated sci-fi horror films “Splice” and “Cube,” was set to roll on his next film, "Haunter," with “Little Miss Sunshine” star Abigal Breslin. We did predict that...

'Little Miss Sunshine' Star Abigail Breslin To Lead Vincenzo Natali's 'Haunter'

An oddity at the start of summer of 2010, the overlooked “Splice,” from “Cube” director Vincenzo Natali was an equal parts Paul Verhoeven and David Cronenberg-style body horror film, that was fortunately able to sidestep some third act contrivances to create a pretty memorable time at the movies. We...

Review: 'Janie Jones' Gets All The Notes Right In The Most Boring Song You Could Imagine

Take the worst successful bar band you can think of (it was Nickleback, don’t lie). Downgrade their talent about halfway. Now imagine the sheer amount of bands that fulfill that criteria, currently on the road shuffling from bar to bar, hoping to get lucky and have that one moment where the public p...

We were only just talking about how talented young actress Abigail Breslin has some real range, not to mention a whole slate of finished and potential projects. Today we see the poster for one of those potential projects, “Janie Jones,” which we first told you about way back in late 2010.

'Little Miss Sunshine' Star Abigail Breslin Joins Sex Comedy 'Virgin Mary'

Perhaps still best known as the potbellied pageant princess in “Little Miss Sunshine,” Abigail Breslin has spent the better part of the last decade growing up on screen. From her precocious young character in the Ryan Reynolds-starring “Definitley, Maybe,” to the anarchic youngster in “Zombieland,” ...

Abigail Breslin Is Going To Kill Her Mom For A 'Class Project'

My how time flies. It seemed it was only yesterday that we were watching a young, sweet and bespectacled Abigail Breslin take a road trip with her oddball family in "Little Miss Sunshine." And while she has done a handful of films since -- including most notably "Zombieland" -- we're still kind of s...

Jennifer Lawrence Frontrunner For 'Hunger Games'? Hailee Steinfeld & Abigail Breslin Also In The Mix

We're getting older, and we're no longer afraid to admit that. However, it does come with certain disadvantages. Our ears have aged to that point that we're now unable to hear Justin Bieber's voice, for instance. We were offered a role in a Neal Moritz-produced remake of "Cocoon" the other day. And,...

Yet Another Vampire Pic: Abigail Breslin & Julianne Moore To Star In 'Innocence'

Variety is reporting that the world will be graced with another vampire film titled "Innocence," based on the book of the same name by Jane Mendelsohn. Right now Abigail Breslin and Julianne Moore are attached to star in the story about a grieving teenage girl who discovers that her private school is home to a nest of vampires. Though roles haven't been confirmed, Breslin will most likely be playing main character Beckett, with Moore playing the school nurse that embeds herself in Beckett's life by marrying her father. The film will be directed by Hilary Brougher, a widely unknown female director who last directed "Stephanie Daley" with Tilda...
