Cecile on the Phone

Overwhelmed by doubt and confusion after her ex-boyfriend’s return to New York, Cecile embarks on a series of telephone conversations that serve only to distract her from the one conversation she really needs to have. [Synopsis courtesy of Sundance]

Holy Motors

We follow 24 hours in the life of a being moving from life to life like a cold and solitary assassin moving from hit to hit. In each of these interwoven lives, the being possesses an entirely distinct identity: sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes youthful, sometimes old. By turns murderer, beggar, company chairman, monstrous creature, worker, family man.

Inspired by actual events, a group of 12 year old girls face a night of horror when the compulsive addiction of an online social media game turns a moment of cyber bullying into a night of insanity.

The Nymphets

After a well-to-do thirty something man, Joe, gets drawn into the escalating circumstances of two rowdy young girls, Allyson and Brittany, the three find themselves partying dangerously hard in his loft.
At first, the girls seem to see this older man as a casual diversion… His motivation may be cause for concern but he has a place to party and a liquor cabinet to raid. Curiosity turns into drunken browbeating, but Joe does his best to keep up with the girls’ provocation. Are they just playing him, or is it the other way around?
