Review: 'Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding' Is A Fun, Easy Trip Upstate

There are moments during certain romantic comedies when you might find yourself throwing up your hands and growling, “come on!” under your breath. And with good reason: the improbability of plotlines and inconsistencies of characters are enough to drive even the sappiest of us screaming ...

Jane Fonda Brings Back the 60's in 'Peace, Love & Misunderstanding'

Please don’t take this as an endorsement of the film, but Jane Fonda’s casting and witty performance add a clever layer of history to the otherwise dismal Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. This clunky, obvious comedy about a fractured family is ludicrous from its premise on.

Watch: Elizabeth Olsen & Jane Fonda Offer 'Peace, Love & Misunderstanding' In New Trailer

Don't call it a comeback, but it looks like Jane Fonda is ready to get back to work. The actress/fitness guru/activist hasn't been entirely idle on the big screen in the past ten years, but she hasn't been Jessica Chastain either. Back in 2005, Fonda co-starred in the Jennifer Lopez roma...

Trailer Watch: Sorkin's 'The Newsroom' Punches America in the Face

Keith Olbermann anyone? Actually, Jeff Daniels' news anchor, at the start of Aaron Sorkin's new HBO series "The Newsroom" (June 24), is an upstanding objective news anchor without political bias until he completely loses it--under video grilling that goes viral. Like Peter Finch in...

Jane Fonda To Play Nancy Reagan In Lee Daniels' 'The Butler'

Thanks to her anti-war and feminist positions, Jane Fonda has never been a friend to right wingers, so this latest bit of casting news is sure to ruffle more than a few feathers.
