SXSW Review: ‘Space Station 76’ Starring Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler & Matt Bomer

The retro-kitsch appeal inherent to “Space Station 76” is palpable from its star-gazing opening credits, rendered as they are in Gill Sans font (think “2001: A Space Odyssey”) with state-of-the-art CGI effects modeled on the miniature work of yesteryear. What follows is a sci-fi soap opera seemingly...

Patrick Wilson, Matt Bomer & Liv Tyler Go Into Orbit For Sci-Fi Dramatic Comedy 'Space Station 76'

Occasionally when, in the midst of press rounds for other projects, an actor or director reveals an entire film has been shot under the radar for immediate release -- Noah Baumbach's “Frances Ha” or Joss Whedon's “Much Ado About Nothing” comes to recent memory -- the ...

    Robot & Frank—movie review

Frank Langella’s presence would be enough to pique my interest in any film. 'Robot & Frank' offers him a modest starring vehicle with a science-fiction spin, and the result is one of the most enjoyable indie films of the year.

Watch/WTF: Liv Tyler Covers "Need You Tonight" By INXS For Givenchy Perfume Ad

Well, can't say were expecting this. And in the history of stars and fashion spots, this is certainly a riskier move than just appearing beautiful in a one minute ad. So props to Liv Tyler for throwing caution to the wind, even if it's still kind of totally odd.

Liev Schreiber, James Marsden & Liv Tyler Join Indie 'Robot And Frank'

Frank Langella, Jeremy Strong & Susan Sarandon Also On BoardIf a cast that includes Liev Schreiber, Liv Tyler, Frank Langella, James Marsden and Susan Sarandon doesn’t get you excited for the sci-fi influenced indie “Robot and Frank,” perhaps it’s time to check your own wiring. While all four names have had their share of misfires lately, namely Schreiber in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and Langella and Sarandon in “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps,” all are in high demand and frankly deliver solid performances when they are working with the right talent. Actor Jeremy Strong is an interesting newcomer who has the upcoming comedy “See Girl Run”...
