Toronto: Millennium Acquires John Turturro's 'Fading Gigolo,' Starring Woody Allen and Sharon Stone

Millennium Entertainment has acquired all U.S. rights to John Turturro’s "Fading Gigolo" out of the Toronto International Film Festival. Written, directed and starring Turturro, the film stars Turturro as Fioravante, a man who decides to become a professional escort as a way of making money to help his cash-strapped friend Murray (played by Woody Allen). With Murray acting as his manager and more aptly named pimp, the duo find themselves caught up in the crosscurrents of love and money. The cast is includes Vanessa Paradis, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara.
