1996 Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival Student Competition Winners Announced

Prior to Friday's opening night screening of "Shine," winners
were announced in the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival's Student Film
Competition.
Jordan Melamed's "A Corner In Bold" (AFI) and Eric Kripke's "Truly Committed"
(USC) picked up awards for Narrative and Short Narrative respectively, while
Steven Ayromlooi's "Return Of The Devil" (Rhode Island School of Design) won
the Animation award. Wesley Robert's "An Orange Inch Of Moon" (American
University) won the Music Video Award and Amanda Micheli's "Just For The Ride"
garnered the Documentary prize.
Award winners were presented with a $1,000 grant for filmmaking services.
