Indiewire will provide regular updates of our predictions for the 84th Academy Award winners through February 26th, when the winners are announced.

Some are suggesting the unexpected presence of Max Von Sydow here might give Christopher Plummer a run for his money,  but the battle of the Oscarless octogenarians is greatly exaggerated.  Plummer very likely has this in the bag, and deservedly so.
