Ben Affleck's "Argo" led the winners of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, taking both best picture (drama) and best director, despite Affleck getting snubbed at the Oscars.

"Les Miserables" won the most awards overall, taking the best picture (comedy or musical) prize as well as acting trophies for Hugh Jackman (best actor - comedy or musical) and Anne Hathaway (best supporting actress).

Other film acting winners included Daniel Day-Lewis ("Lincoln"), Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty"), Jennifer Lawrence ("Silver Linings Playbook") and -- in the only real surprise -- Christoph Waltz ("Django Unchained").
