Brian Koppelman knows his craft. The writer, director, and producer has a long list of credits to prove it ("The Girlfriend Experience," "Solitary Man," "Ocean's 13," etc.). He's also set to be a showrunner for a new HBO show about the 1970s music scene (if the show gets picked up as a series).

Recently, Koppelman has taken to sharing his screenwriting wisdom in six second tips on Vine. In these six second clips, he covers everything from combating writer's block, to story structure. His #1 tip? "All screenwriting books are bullshit, all. Watch movies, read screenplays. Let them be your guide." Maybe he should add "watch Vine videos" to his list!
