Boulder Fest Rocks to 47 Films and Alec Baldwin

Coined as one of the “25 coolest film festivals” by MovieMaker Magaine, this year’s Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) will play host to 31 filmmakers, there to showcase 47 films. Running from February 11 - 14 in Boulder, Colorado, BIFF over the years “has become a must-attend film festival with screenings, parties, a red carpet gala and special events,” according to BIFF’s director, Kathy Beeck. This year’s festival kicks off with an opening night red-carpet gala and screening of Daniel Adams’ “The Lighkeepers,” starring Richard Dreyfuss, Blythe Danner and Bruce Dern. Danner, Adams and producer Straw Weisman will be participating in a Q&A following the screening. To cap the festival on a high note, BIFF’s Closing Night Awards Ceremony will feature a tribute to Alec Baldwin, where hey will be presented with the fest’s 2010 Award for Excellence in Acting.
