Sam Taylor-Johnson's cinematic adaptation of the first book E.L. James' sexually charged, massively successful literary series has already had its fair share of troubles; with the film's lead actor dropping out and having to promptly be replaced. Now its release date has officially been changed, with the film's original date of August 1, 2014 being pushed to February 13, 2015. The new date will no doubt help the production, giving it an additional six-month leeway, as well as giving the film the opportunity to cleverly capitalize off an ironic Valentine's Day release.
