The 15th anniversary edition of the Nantucket Film Festival (NFF) wrapped up this past Sunday, following a four day event where over 40 features and shorts screened.

The big winner at Sunday's closing ceremony was Jennifer Arnold's "A Small Act," which nabbed the Adrienne Shelley Excellence in Filmmaking Award for Arnold, and the Audience Award for Best Feature. Another high profile winner was the popular documentary "Bill Cunningham New York" from director Richard Press and producer Philip Gefter, which walked away with Best Storytelling in a Documentary Film.

Over the course of the festival, in celebration of their anniversary, NFF hosted a slew of events that included an All Star Comedy Roundtable presented by Ben Stiller, a Screenwriting Tribute to Barry Levinson, Michael Arndt and David Guggenheim, and Late Night Storytelling with host Jonathan Ames.

“Everyone put a tremendous amount of effort into making this one of our biggest years yet,” said Executive Director Colin Stanfield. “We invested a lot of energy into turning the Nantucket High School into one of our main venues, with crowds there exceeding expectations. The added capacity enabled us to almost double our ticket sales this year and we hope to further capitalize on this success as the festival continues to grow.”
