"A Wonderful Night in Split" and "Taimagura Grandma" Take RiverRun Fest Honors

Croatian director Arsen Anton Ostojic's "A Wonderful Night in Split" and Japanese director Yoshiko Sumikawa's "Taimagura Grandma" took the juried prizes for best narrative and best documentary film at the recently completed 2006 RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem, NC. In other prizes, "Aurora Borealis" (USA), directed by James Burke won the best narrative feature audience award, while the audience prize for documentary went to "Rene and I" (USA) by Gina Angelone.
