The American Cinema Editors have announced the nominations for their 59th annual ACE Eddie Awards in three cinematic categories: dramatic film, comedy/musical film and documentary. Last year's winner, "The Bourne Ultimatum" also went on to win an Oscar. This has also been the case all but once (in 2000, when "Traffic" won the Oscar over ACE Eddie winner "Gladiator") since 1990.
