AFI FEST Locks Down Complete Slate; 'Green Inferno,' 'Omar' and 'Congress' Make Cut

AFI FEST 2013 (November 7-14) today locked down the remaining sections and films screening in the festival's World Cinema, American Independents, Breathrough, Midnight, Cinema's Legacy and Presentations programs.

AFI FEST 2013 (November 7-14) today locked down the remaining sections and films screening in the festival's World Cinema, American Independents, Breakthrough, Midnight, Cinema's Legacy and Presentations programs.

Filmmakers returning to this year's edition include Jafar Panahi ("Closed Curtains"), Kim Ki-duk ("Moebius"), Hong Sang-soo ("Our Sunhi"), Xavier Dolan ("Tom at the Farm") and Lukas Moodysoon ("We Are the Best!").

The complete lineup includes a whopping 119 films (86 features, 36 shorts), representing 43 countries. The films in the World Cinema, American Independents, Breakthrough and New Auteurs sections are eligible for their respective section's Audience Award.
