AFP: Ben Affleck's "Gone Baby Gone" brings Boston to French film fest

US actor Ben Affleck brought the seamy side of his native Boston to the Deauville Film Festival on Wednesday with the premiere of his directorial debut "Gone Baby Gone." Based on a novel by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote "Mystic River" which Clint Eastwood brought to the screen in 2003, "Gone Baby Gone" tells the story of two private investigators searching for an abducted four-year-old girl.
