Canadian director David Cronenberg's crime thriller "Eastern Promises" will open the 55th annual San Sebastian Film Festival next month, organisers said Tuesday. The San Sebastian Film Festival, the oldest and most prestigious in the Spanish-speaking world, runs this year from September 20 to 29. British jewel heist film "Flawless," directed by Michael Radford and starring Michael Caine and Demi Moore, will close the festival but unlike "Eastern Promises" it is not in competition. AFP reports.
