AFP: Rome film fest kicks off with world premiere of "Fur" starring Kidman

Rome's inaugural film festival kicked off with the avidly anticipated world premiere of "Fur" starring Australian actress Nicole Kidman. Subtitled "An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus," the film asks the viewer to suspend disbelief from the start, plunging into the imagined inner world of the brilliant but tortured soul who was to become an acclaimed photographer of society's fringes.
