Direct from its world premiere at the South By Southwest Film Conference and Festival, Joe Swanberg's "Alexander The Last" will have its New York City premiere Monday, March 23rd at 7pm at the IFC Center. Swanberg and co-stars Jess Weixeler and Amy Seimetz will participate in a Q&A following the screening. The premiere is open to the public: tickets are available at the box office and can be purchased here.
The film marks the third time IFC Films and Swanberg have partnered together, following the releases of "Nights and Weekends" and "Hannah Takes The Stairs." The film had its world premiere last weekend at the SXSW Film Festival and nationwide on-demand from IFC Festival Direct. It was one of five films to screen at SXSW also made available on-demand as part an unprecedented partnership between IFC Films and SXSW creating the first-ever nationwide on-demand film festival experience.
The evening's program will also include the New York City premiere of "Coffee," a short film by Vicky Wight that also bowed at SXSW.
