Altman and Trudeau Take a Visit to "Silicon Valley"

by indieWIRE

Director Robert Altman ("The Player", "The Gingerbread Man") is developing a
one-hour pilot with "Doonesbury"'s Garry Trudeau for ABC Television. Working
with the title "Silicon Valley a.k.a. Killer App", it will be a nighttime
soap taking place in the high-tech world of Silicon Valley. The project is being
developed with the Kushner-Locke production company, who has a deal with Altman's
Sandcastle 5 Productions.

Altman and Trudeau worked together before on "Tanner '88", a political drama
series that was shown on HBO. Altman also recently executive produced and
directed the anthology series, "Gun", for ABC.
