ARC Entertainment Acquires Rights to U.K. Thriller 'Plastic'

ARC Entertainment has acquired the North American distribution rights to the Julian Gilbey-directed film, "Plastic." The drama, about a credit card scam, was a hit in the U.K., making the box office's top ten.

ARC Entertainment has acquired the North American distribution rights to the Julian Gilbey-directed film, "Plastic." The drama, about a credit card scam, was a hit in the U.K., making the box office's top ten. 

"Plastic" stars Ed Speleers ("Downton Abbey") as an extremely intelligent and savvy college student who recruits a group of friends to commit credit card fraud. However, things grow complicated when the grow indadvertedly steal from a infamous gangster. 

ARC Entertainment will also be in charge of distribution for the upcoming, star-studded drama "Lullaby," with Amy Adams, Richard Jenkins, Garrett Hedlund, Terrence Howard and Jennifer Hudson. 

A U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
