Arthouse Films Gets “Art & Copy” at Sundance

Worldwide rights to Doug Pray’s “Art & Copy” have been acquired by Arthouse Films, the company announced tonight at the Sundance Film Festival. Screening in the documentary competition in Park City, the film’s deal was brokered by David Koh & Lilly Bright from Arthouse Films & Curiously Bright Entertainment with Josh Braun of Submarine Entertainment on behalf of the director and producers. The film was produced by the One Club and by Jimmy Greenway and Michael Nadeau and was Executive Produced by David Baldwin, Gregory Beauchamp, Kirk Souder, and Mary Warlick who is the CEO of the One Club. Arthouse is planning a theatrical release in 2009, followed by a DVD release on the Arthouse Films label. This is a film about creativity,” said filmmaker Doug Pray, in a statement. “I am very excited about having it distributed in a highly creative and modern fashion by David Koh and his team at Arthouse Films.”
