A&E Renews 'Bates Motel' for Another Eerie Season

Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga in 'Bates Motel' A&E

Securing a loyal fan base with its quasi-creepy twistedness, "Bates Motel" will begin production this fall for a 10-episode third season. A&E's general manager David McKillop announced the placement of the order today. Currently the show is going strong, with the first episode of season two premiering to over 4.6 million viewers on March 3rd.

"The incredible writing team and talented 'Bates Motel' cast has made this series one of the most compelling original dramas on television," said McKillop. "The brilliant twists and turns of the past two seasons keep its loyal fan base coming back for more. We are so proud of the show."

New episodes of “Bates Motel” season two currently air every Monday at 10PM/ET.

I recorded all the shows and will probably watch them several times this summer. This is the best series that I have seen in a long time. I like it better than the original movie.
