Director Jeff Jeffcoat and producer Deryn Williams funded their
documentary about Bingo independently, but now that principal photography
is done, the money has run out. So Jeffcoat and Williams are sponsoring
a Bingo Night to help cover the cost of post-production. Scheduled for
Saturday, April 4, participants will get more than the satisfaction of
helping the struggling filmmakers. They can win prizes including 4 tickets
to the Carribean.

The filmmakers hope to raise up to $10,000 at the fund-raiser. "Deryn and
I actually gave up the 4 tickets to the Caribbean that we acquired last year.
The rest (of the prizes) are from businesses in and around the Northwest.
They took a little persuading but we got there eventually," explained Jeffcoat.

"Bingo" was shot on location in England, Ireland, Scotland and the Virgin
Islands, among other locales. The filmmakers are hoping for a June/July
completion date. "We are still in need of approximately $20,000. But if this
fund-raiser is a huge success, which I'm sure it will be, we will probably
throw another smaller game sometime within the next 3 months," said Jeffcoat.
