We've been waiting patiently for the first look at "Fargo," the television adaptation of Joel and Ethan Coen's Oscar-winning film from 1996, and it's finely here... in a 30 second teaser featuring Billy Bob Thornton performing a task many Northeasterners are sick of by now.
Simple, direct, and more than a little vague, the spot reveals very little we didn't already know, including the name of Thornton's character -- Lorne Malvo, a fact already available on IMDB -- and the month of the anticipated show's premiere (we can do you one better, it debuts April 15). Despite the show's cast list sporting some popular names like Martin Freeman, Oliver Platt, and Bob Odenkirk, none of their welcome faces appear in the teaser.
More will undoubtedly be unveiled in the coming months, but take a look at the spot below and tell us what you think of the slow tease put forth by FX.
